Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hokes Bluff). Everything went their way against the Etowah Blue Devils on Tuesday as the Hokes Bluff Eagles made off with a 9-3 win. Cashus Hannah was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Hokes Bluff and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those two matchups. As for Etowah, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Hokes Bluff will venture away from home to square off against Cherokee County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Cherokee County's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Etowah will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hokes Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on April 7th.
