It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Heppner had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed past the Nestucca Bobcats to the tune of 54-0. Considering the Mustangs have won nine contests by more than 34 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Alakae Rodriguez, who rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, and also caught one score. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September. Joesph Albitre was another key player, picking up 124 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Heppner was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 286 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 170 rushing yards in 11 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
