Recap: Timnath Cubs vs. Wellington Eagles        
        
		
            
 The Timnath Cubs stacked  a  12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They really took it to Wellington for the full four quarters, racking up a  64-23 victory at home. The  match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  43-14.
 Timnath's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Lily Eisbrener, who  scored ten points along with eight  rebounds and seven  assists. Eisbrener is crushing the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tiana Guzman, who  scored 12 points along with five  steals and three  blocks.
 Timnath's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-5. They've been dominating during the  contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.7 points. As for Wellington, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-11.
 Timnath will head out on the road to  take on  Liberty Common at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Liberty Common will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Timnath is ranked 111th). As for Wellington, they won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Lyons at 6:00  p.m.  on February 7th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Colorado (Lyons is ranked 258th, while Wellington is ranked 277th).
