Softball Recap: East Leopards vs. West Panthers
East came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the West Panthers with a sharp 16-6 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-10 back in April.

Amaiah Garcia made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.
