Basketball Recap: Montoursville Takes a Loss

Montoursville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewisburg Green Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Green Dragons are ranked 141st).

Montoursville now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Lewisburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Montoursville has already played their next game (against Milton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lewisburg will be playing at home against Danville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lewisburg's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
