Preview: Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks vs. Fort Meade Miners

The Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Fort Meade Miners at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jordan Christian Prep proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 33) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-37 victory over George Jenkins. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Jordan Christian Prep has posted yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jordan Christian Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Delyana Morris, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Delissa Morris, who scored 12 points.

Meanwhile, Fort Meade had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 53-17 win over Frostproof. Fort Meade's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Jordan Christian Prep's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Fort Meade's record is now 8-1.

Jordan Christian Prep strolled past Fort Meade when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 38-23. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jordan Christian Prep since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
