Baseball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy fell victim to Chicago Washington and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Crusaders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kennedy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Estreda, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Kennedy has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. Chicago Washington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

Coming up, Kennedy will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Jones at 10:00 a.m. As for Chicago Washington, they will square off against De La Salle at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
