Soccer Recap: Logan Takes a Loss

Logan faced Layton Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Eagles who were credited with the win. The Layton Christian Academy Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Logan Grizzlies' three. Logan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their goal came courtesy of Miles MacNulty, who's now up to four this season.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Layton Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Logan will venture away from home to challenge Morgan at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Layton Christian Academy, they will take on Hurricane at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
