South Lakes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. Hayfield's loss dropped their record down to 23-6.

Things could have been worse for South Lakes, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 66-52 loss to Hayfield when the teams last played back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mcfarlane, who went 5-for-6 to rack up 19 points and four steals.
