Basketball Game Preview: Sparkman Senators vs. Bob Jones Patriots

Sparkman and Bob Jones are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Sparkman Senators will be playing at home against the Bob Jones Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sparkman's tournament run continued when they took on Enterprise last Saturday. Sparkman took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Enterprise. While losing is never fun, the Senators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Wildcats are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, Bob Jones waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They enjoyed a cozy 68-52 win over the Bucks.

Bob Jones has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Sparkman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
