Softball Recap: North County Find Success

North County got themselves on the board against Glen Burnie on Monday, but Glen Burnie never followed suit. They came out on top against the Gophers by a score of 3-0. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Gophers back in April, they had to take a 11-1 defeat.

The result came thanks to Lexi Garrison's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Reese Butler was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

The win made it two in a row for North County and bumps their season record up to 9-10. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Glen Burnie, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

As of now, neither North County nor Glen Burnie have any future games scheduled.
