Trey James put up the most runs he's had since back in May of 2024 on Thursday. He got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. He was dominant the last time he took on Pike Central back in May of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. James has become a key player for Washington: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise.
