Volleyball Recap: Appleton City Takes a Loss

Appleton City was the 3-0 winner over Sherwood when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Marksmen on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-21.

Appleton City's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Sherwood, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Appleton City is taking a road trip to square off against Butler at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sherwood, they will host Midway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
