Recap: Eagle Mustangs vs. Kuna Kavemen
The Eagle Mustangs's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 57-45 victory over Kuna. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Eagle also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Porter Wood was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Berkley Jones, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Eagle has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Kuna, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle will take on Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Kuna, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Middleton is coming into the game hot, having won their last 13 games.
