Lincoln proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by four) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat the Oakmont Vikings by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Lincoln sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Scott Roycraft and Emanuel Colmenares scored both of Lincoln's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 5-2-2. As for Oakmont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Lincoln and Oakmont will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Fighting Zebras see the pitch they'll take on Center at 6:45 p.m. on January 7, 2026. As for Oakmont, their break will end when they face Marysville at 6:45 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
