Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Monday

After losing to Crosspointe Christian Academy the last time they met, Calvary Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Calvary Christian EAGLES walked away with a 54-45 win over the Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers on Monday. Given the EAGLES's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Panthers are ranked 190th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Calvary Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Crosspointe Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Calvary Christian EAGLES face off against the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crosspointe Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tabernacle Christian at 7:15 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
