It was a good run, but Concord Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against Lakeway Christian Academy, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lakeway Christian Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8, 25-16.

Concord Christian's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Manhattan Shuler, who had nine digs and seven assists. Katelyn Stooksbury was another key player, getting 12 digs.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeway Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carley Cameron, who had 12 digs and five assists. Another player making a difference was Essie Jett, who had ten digs.

Concord Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

As of now, neither Concord Christian nor Lakeway Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
