Pleasant Grove dropped their record down to 11-7 on Monday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins. They lost 11-4 to the Junipero Serra Padres. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2015.

Nolan Underwood made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Cole Davis was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

As for Junipero Serra, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-2. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

On Junipero Serra's side, Nate Hui was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave Hui a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Evan Bradshaw, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Pleasant Grove didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-0 win against College Park on the 14th. As for Junipero Serra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against Rocklin on the 14th.
