Briggsdale has gone 6-0 against Lone Star recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Briggsdale Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Lone Star Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. Briggsdale is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Last Saturday, Briggsdale didn't have too much trouble with Caliche as they won 42-28.

Briggsdale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Loyd, who went 8 for 16 on her way to 21 points and three steals. Loyd is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Brown, who posted 13 points.

Briggsdale smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive contests.

Lone Star meant business on Saturday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Eagles squad that has allowed just 26 points per contest. Lone Star simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Deer Trail 55-23. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 24 points or more this season.

Briggsdale pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points per game. As for Lone Star, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Everything came up roses for Briggsdale against Lone Star in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-31 victory. In that matchup, Briggsdale amassed a halftime lead of 42-12, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
