Softball Recap: Troy Trojans vs. Butler Aviators
Troy took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Butler, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Aviators 7-6. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 9-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Alexis Ater was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Maddie Wright also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
