Baseball Recap: Parowan Comes Up Short

Parowan's last matchup with Kanab could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Rams came up short against the Cowboys, falling 7-1. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Parowan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Bettridge, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Parowan has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Kanab, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

While Parowan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
