Glendale is 0-10 against Nixa since October of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Falcons will face off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Glendale will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Lebanon, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Falcons walked away with a 3-1 win over the Yellowjackets on Thursday.
Glendale had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-18.

Glendale's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Aubree Bohannon, who had four aces and three digs, and Kensie Miner, who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs gave Miner a new career-high. Ivy Flinn also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Glendale was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Nixa waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Tigers.
Nixa took Ozark into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 23-25, 15-10.
Nixa's victory bumped their record up to 24-9. As for Glendale, their win bumped their record up to 15-9-3.
Glendale suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Nixa when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
