J.J. Watt has been a giant proponent of high school sports over the years, and on Wednesday he showed his financial support for a high school player and family in need.

The Houston Texans All-Pro defensive lineman made a $10,000 donation to the GoFundMe page of Grant Milton, a linebacker from The Woodlands (Texas) who was severly injured during a playoff game Saturday.

Milton's father Miles Milton told the Houston Chronicle that his son is improving from a head injury and is in a medically induced coma. He's also extremely grateful for all who have rallied around his family, including Watt.

As of Thursday morning, more than $70,000 has been raised with a goal of $84,000 to defray medical and living expenses.
