            Baseball Recap: Superior Panthers vs. San Manuel Miners        
        
		
        
        
            Superior extended their losing streak  to four  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 8-11 in the process. They came up short against  the San Manuel Miners, falling  10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  11-1  back in March.
As for San Manuel, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-8. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.8 runs over those games.
 For San Manuel's part,  the team  relied heavily on  Tanner Decker, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. The Miners are 9-2 when  Decker posts two or  more  runs, but 4-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Marcos Smith, who  went 1-for-2 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Superior will face off against Mogollon at 11:00  a.m.  on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 11.1  runs per game this season. As for San Manuel, they will take on Ray at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Miners' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bearcats have averaged an impressive 7.3  runs per game this season.
