Softball Recap: Northview's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northview owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They came out on top against the La Canada Spartans by a score of 5-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Not much got past Clementina Duran, who gave up just two hits to keep La Canada off the board.

At the plate, Marilyn Sandoval and Sophia Luna did most of the damage at the plate: Sandoval scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Luna went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Luna a new career-high. Bella Ochoa was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.

Northview's win bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for La Canada, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Coming up, Northview will take on Artesia at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for La Canada, they have already played their next game, a 9-3 loss against Crescenta Valley on the 4th.
