Football Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Freedom lost against Maria Carrillo back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons took a blow against the Pumas, falling 34-6. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Freedom didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tristan Silva.

Estefan Ramirez was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 64 yards and one score on only six carries, and also picked up 31 receiving yards. Those 31 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Maria Carrillo, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom will host Ygnacio Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maria Carrillo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Redwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
