Preview: Westchester vs. Venice
Westchester will be playing in front of their home fans against Venice at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westchester has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 2.
Westchester suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 6-0 loss at the hands of Los Angeles CES. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Westchester in their matchups with Los Angeles CES: they've now lost seven in a row.
Even though Venice has not done well against Hamilton recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Venice didn't even let Hamilton onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory.
Venice was led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Brandon Moldanado and
Raul Peryanez, who scored.
Westchester has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Venice, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-1.
