Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Township Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Jefferson Township duked it out with West Caldwell Tech on Friday. The Falcons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Jefferson Township has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for West Caldwell Tech, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Jefferson Township will venture away from home to face off against Randolph at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Caldwell Tech, they will host Millburn at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Millers a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
