St. John Paul II took a hard 37-19 fall against North Florida Christian. St. John Paul II has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, St. John Paul II saw an underclassman step up: Aliyah Medrano scored four points along with six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was D?Nae Mosse, who scored two points along with three steals.

St. John Paul II bumped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.7 points per game. As for North Florida Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

St. John Paul II won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wakulla at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Wakulla is ranked 573rd, while St. John Paul II is ranked 585th). As for North Florida Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Maclay at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
