Volleyball Recap: Swett's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

On Monday, the Swett Warriors were able to grind out a solid victory over the De Anza Dons, taking the game 3-1.

Swett had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 26-24, 25-17, 26-24.

Swett's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3. As for De Anza, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Swett will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Bethel at 5:30 p.m. As for De Anza, they will venture away from home to take on St. Patrick-St. Vincent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
