Recap: Rochester School for the Deaf Wildcats vs. Tournament Opponent

The Rochester School for the Deaf Wildcats waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They beat Tournament Opponent by the very same score they won with last week: 38-28.

Rochester School for the Deaf found their leader in underclassman Evangeline Fisher-Palmer, who scored 20 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Fisher-Palmer has scored at least a third of Rochester School for the Deaf's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Stuhlberg, who scored four points along with 16 rebounds.

Rochester School for the Deaf's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Tournament Opponent, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 32 of their last 34 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 61-146 record this season.

Rochester School for the Deaf does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tournament Opponent won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ohio School for the Deaf on January 14th.
