Oak Hills waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Lakota East Thunderhawks by a score of 9-4. For the Highlanders, this counts as revenge for the 10-8 win the Thunderhawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Oak Hills pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Lakota East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Coming up, Oak Hills will face off against Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Big Blue's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Highlanders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lakota East, they will challenge Boyd County at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
