Baseball Recap: Da Vinci Sets Scoring Season-High Against Clovis

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Da Vinci). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Clovis Wildcats on Thursday, sneaking past 14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dragons have posted since March 7, 2024.

Da Vinci's victory bumped their record up to 5-8-1. As for Clovis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Da Vinci wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 12-2 win against New Mexico Military Institute on the 14th. As for Clovis, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-7 victory against Goddard on the 15th.
