Hononegah is a perfect 10-0 against Guilford since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Hononegah will be strutting in after a win while Guilford will be coming in after a loss.

Hononegah's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Jefferson with a sharp 7-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Harlem hit Guilford with a five-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings came up short against the Huskies, falling 12-3.

Guilford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Kegley, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. The Vikings are 3-1 when Kegley posts three or more hits, but 5-6 otherwise.

Hononegah's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-14. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.2 runs over those games. As for Guilford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Hononegah skirted past Guilford 2-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
