Baseball Game Preview: Glendora Tartans vs. Alta Loma Braves

The Glendora Tartans are taking a road trip to take on the Alta Loma Braves at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Glendora saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of Sultana by a score of 3-2.

Glendora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Santiago Garza, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Alta Loma didn't have quite enough to beat Eisenhower on Thursday and fell 7-6. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Noah Verkaik was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

Glendora's record now sits at 3-2. As for Alta Loma, their record is now 1-4.

Glendora came up short against Alta Loma in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 6-2. Can Glendora avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
