Football Recap: Taylorsville Comes Up Short

Taylorsville fell victim to Heidelberg and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Oilers 48-0. The loss leaves the Tartars still looking for their first win of the season.

Heidelberg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chase Craft, who threw for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Kaden Porter was another key back, rushing for 66 yards and one score on only five carries.

Taylorsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Heidelberg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Taylorsville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against North Forrest on the 26th. As for Heidelberg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 21-18 loss against McCallie on the 26th.
