Volleyball Recap: Christian Home Educators Fellowship Wins Going Away Against Word of God Academy

Christian Home Educators Fellowship won the last time they faced Word of God Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots blew past the Force 3-0.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Word of God Academy between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Word of God Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kallie Pizarro had 17 digs and three aces. Pizarro is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Word of God Academy, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Christian Home Educators Fellowship is set to square off against their familiar foe Old Bethel Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Word of God Academy will take on rival Open Door Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
