Volleyball Recap: Vermillion Tanagers vs. West Central Trojans
Vermillion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Central Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tanagers of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19.
Vermillion's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for West Central, the victory snapped their losing streak at ten games and leaves them with a 7-15 record.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vermillion will square off against Beresford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Central, they are on the road again on Tuesday to play Garretson at 7:15 p.m.
