Volleyball Recap: Cooter Comes Up Short

Cooter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Delta Chargers. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chargers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Olivia Richardson paced Cooter's offense, picking up five kills. Richardson got some help from Lily Hubbard and her five assists. Payton Forsythe controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Cooter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Delta, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coincidentally, Cooter and Delta will both be playing Hayti the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will host the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chargers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
