Football Game Preview: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Franklin County Lions + Official Tickets

Hebron Christian is a perfect 3-0 against Franklin County since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Hebron Christian will be playing at home against Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. Hebron Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Hebron Christian took their contest with ease, bagging a 51-24 win over Stephens County. Considering the Lions have won three matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hebron Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Devon Caldwell out in front who rushed for 238 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Caldwell's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 110 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarvis Mathurin, who gained 110 total yards and three touchdowns.

Hebron Christian's run defense was locked in: Stephens County could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Albert Wilham for the heroic effort on defense: he. Hebron Christian didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.1.

Hebron Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Holden Meers, Masen Hardy, and Jai'Lil Goley picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Franklin County entered their game against Prince Avenue Christian on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions had to suffer through a 45-14 loss at the hands of the Wolverines. The contest was a close 17-14 at the break, but unfortunately for the Lions it sure didn't stay that way.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Hebron Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Hebron Christian strolled past Franklin County when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 38-21. Will Hebron Christian repeat their success, or does Franklin County has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
