Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Katie Colwell and Kaitlyn Starkovich Lead Coastal Christian to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mission College Prep, Coastal Christian was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coast Union Broncos. The win continues a trend for the Conquerors in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won four in a row.

Coastal Christian never let Coast Union on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11, 25-22.

Coastal Christian was led to victory by Kaitlyn Starkovich and Katie Colwell. Starkovich had 14 digs, while Colwell had seven digs. Those 14 digs gave Starkovich a new career-high.

Coastal Christian's victory bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Coast Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Coastal Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Shandon on the 14th. Coast Union has also already played their next contest (against Valley Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
