Basketball Game Preview: Union Titans vs. Skyview Storm

The Union Titans will take on the Skyview Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Union knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 games -- so hopefully Skyview likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Union was fully in charge, breezing past Battle Ground 72-29. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Skyview came up short against Camas on Tuesday and fell 51-38. While losing is never fun, the Storm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Papermakers are ranked 20th).

Union has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.7 points. As for Skyview, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Everything came up roses for Union against Skyview when the teams last played last Tuesday, as the squad secured a 68-39 victory. Does Union have another victory up their sleeve, or will Skyview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
