Soccer Recap: Monarch Comes Up Short

Monarch lost against Horizon back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Coyotes fell 2-0 to the Hawks. That's two games in a row now that Monarch have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Monarch and nudges their season record down to 5-6-2. As for Horizon, they moved to 3-9-1 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Monarch is set to challenge their familiar foe Erie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Horizon will face off against rival Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
