Basketball Recap: Loveland's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Loveland ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Windsor Wizards by a score of 60-53. The win was nothing new for the Red Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

Loveland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zayne Desouza out in front who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Mason Morris was another key player, going 6-for-10 en route to 17 points.

Loveland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Windsor lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tadese Keyworth, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 14 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brady Kingsley, who posted 16 points and five boards.

Loveland's record is now 16-7. As for Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Loveland will take on Pine Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loveland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.1 points per game this season. Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
