Soccer Game Preview: Howard vs. Baldwin + Official Tickets

The Howard Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Baldwin Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Howard is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Harlem just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, Howard couldn't push the score so high this time.

Baldwin fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They put the hurt on Hephzibah with a sharp 4-1 victory on Wednesday. It was an even better day for Nathan Tchamna as he scored three goals for his team.

Howard's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Baldwin, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.

Howard beat Baldwin by a goal in their previous matchup back in March, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
