Canyon Springs had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Twentynine Palms Wildcats with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 40-22. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Angel Robles was a one-man wrecking crew for Canyon Springs as he threw for 370 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per attempt. With that strong performance, Robles is now averaging an impressive 305 passing yards per game. Cameron Holzendorf was Robles' top target, picking up 128 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 53 yards.

Canyon Springs wouldn't let Twentynine Palms keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Canyon Springs can thank Jacob Wingfield and Howard Smith for forcing both of them.
