Volleyball Recap: Grapeland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Grapeland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Chester Yellowjackets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sandies of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-13.

Grapeland's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Chester, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

After both having extra time off, Grapeland and Oakwood will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chester, they will challenge Tarkington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
