Softball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-1 to the Harding Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Harding this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-2 on Friday.

East's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Harding, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-11.

East didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-4 defeat against Chaney on the 6th. Harding has also already played their next contest (against Howland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
