Soccer Game Preview: Oak Forest vs. Lemont

Oak Forest is 0-8 against Lemont since April of 2017 but things could change on Saturday. The Bengals will be playing at home against the Lemont HS at 10:30 a.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Oak Forest's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Bremen by a score of 2-0.

Meanwhile, Lemont made easy work of Evergreen Park on Thursday and carried off an 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for Lemont, who have now won ten contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Lemont has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five games. As for Oak Forest, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
