Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission North Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shawnee Mission North had lost four straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 6-13-3 to make it five. They lost 3-0 to the Olathe South Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

As for Olathe South, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-20 record this season. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Olathe South can attribute much of their success to Cam Clutchey, who had ten digs and seven assists. That's the most digs Clutchey has posted over her last two matchups. Sophie Anderson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shawnee Mission North is set to square off against their familiar foe Olathe East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Olathe South will face off against rival Gardner-Edgerton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
